Meet Chewie 🐾 – A Big Boy with an Even Bigger Heart!

Say hello to Chewie, our gorgeous 5-year-old gentle giant, weighing in at a whopping 49kg! ❤️

Chewie is currently under assessment with Love Underdogs, but we're hoping it won't be long before this special boy is ready to find his forever home.

While Chewie can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, once he gets to know you and feels comfortable, his affectionate personality really shines through. He's a cuddly boy who loves attention, enjoys spending time with his favourite humans, and is always happy to offer you his paw! 🐶

Chewie also has a social side when it comes to other dogs. He seems to have certain canine friends he really enjoys spending time with, and he's been comfortable walking in groups of dogs and has even enjoyed some off-lead time with others. His suitability for living with another dog will be carefully assessed as we get to know him better.

As you can imagine, a boy of Chewie's size needs a home that can meet his needs. He can be a good walking companion, but his future

adopters must be physically capable of safely handling a very large dog. Chewie will need someone who understands that first introductions can take a little patience, allowing him the time and space to build trust at his own pace.

🏡 Chewie's ideal home:

A loving home with people who will give him time to settle in and build confidence.
Adults or families with children aged 16 and over.
Adopters who are physically able to handle a dog of his size.
A cat-free home, with no other small furry pets.
A home where any potential canine companions can be carefully considered following his assessment.

Chewie may be a big lad, but underneath all that size is a cuddly boy who loves affection, attention and sharing his paw with the people he trusts. 💕
