🐾 Meet Blanco – Our Gentle Giant

Blanco is a truly wonderful dog — a magnificent big white bear with an enormous heart to match.
Affectionate, playful and deeply people-oriented, Blanco loves nothing more than spending time with his humans. He has been an absolute sweetheart with everyone he's met at Love Underdogs and is looking for a family who will make him a real part of their world.

💛 His Personality
Blanco is a big, loving boy who thrives on companionship. He adores cuddles and affection, loves his toys and is happiest when he's involved in whatever his humans are doing.
He's also a dog who needs a life with plenty in it. Walks, adventures, games, enrichment and interesting things to do are really important for his wellbeing. He can become bored without enough stimulation or when he's left without his people for too long, so we're looking for a home with both the time and enthusiasm to give him the life he needs.
And if there's water involved, even better! Blanco absolutely loves water, so a family who enjoys trips to rivers, lakes, beaches or anywhere he can safely splash around would make him a very happy boy.

🐕 With Other Dogs
Blanco is great with other dogs and enjoys canine company. He could potentially share his home with a well-matched dog or be equally happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog.
He's a very large, enthusiastic chap, however, and not every dog appreciates quite so much Blanco coming towards them! His owners will need to be sensible about introductions and good at reading the dogs around him.

🌿 His Ideal Home
Blanco needs a home where companionship, adventure and enrichment are part of everyday life.
His ideal home would offer:
• 🏡 Someone at home most of the time, particularly while he settles
• Experience with large dogs, or confidence handling a dog of his size
• Plenty of good walks, outdoor adventures and opportunities to explore
• 💦 Access to safe swimming and water adventures whenever possible
• Regular games, training and enrichment to keep his clever mind busy
• People who are in tune with their dog and good at

reading canine body language
• Lots of companionship, cuddles and affection
• A family for whom their dog is truly at the centre of their world
• No young children due to Blanco's size and enthusiasm
