Meet Roo: A loving goofball with legs for days.

Roo, affectionately named after a Kangaroo, has been bouncing her way into our hearts for nearly 400 days. It's breaking our hearts that this sweet girl hasn't found her forever family yet. Roo deserves all the love, adventures, and joy that life has to offer.

Since joining us, Roo has proven herself to be nothing short of amazing. Here's a glimpse into her wonderful personality:

Roo's brainpower is off the charts! She's not just quick on her feet, she's a fast learner, especially when tasty treats are involved. Watch her trying to navigate with those long legs, and you'll see the highlight of our days. She's the biggest goofball, guaranteed to bring laughter and joy into your home.

Roo is the ideal companion for those who appreciate the nuances of dog training and behaviour. Her intelligence and food motivation make her a joy to work with. Get ready for the funniest grumbles and groans when she's hungry – it's all part of Roo's charming personality! Her sighthound-like nature means bursts of crazy energy followed by serene stretches of rest.

While Roo may be a bit wary around new people initially, a few visits (and a pocket full of treats) are all it takes to earn her trust.

So what is Roo looking for?

-
Adult-Only Home: Roo is best suited for an adult-only home without plans for future children. While she lived with children in her previous home, we believe she'll thrive in a quieter environment.

- Only Pet: Roo is looking for a home without cats, dogs, or other pets.

- Semi-Rural Location: A home with access to big green spaces is ideal for Roo. She loves being on squirrel watch and soaking in the beauty of nature.

- Active, Adventurous Family: If you're a family that loves adventure, Roo is ready to join your journey. A grounded, relaxed, and fun-loving household is her dream home.

- Reactivity Training: Roo's forever family should be willing to work with us on her reactivity training, helping her become the best version of herself.

Roo is not just a dog; she's a potential adventure buddy ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. Let's give Roo the forever home and the adventures she deserves!

NOTE:
All our dogs go on home trial for four weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a certified behaviourist and trainer for the lifetime of our dogs. All our dogs are trained with force free, positive reinforcement based training methods. If you want to adopt Roo, you agree to continue using only these methods and training with kindness.
