The gorgeous Scarlett! An older girl from our partner shelter in Romania who takes the world in her stride; this lady tends to enjoy taking a leisurely stroll through life. By no means does her age hold her back from activity, she just loves nothing more than to sniff the day away on her walks, taking it all in. Scarlett thrives off human companionship, which comes second to her first love, food! Scarlett’s kennel is always a warm and welcome place for the team to have a cuddle and give some fuss. She is vocal with those she trusts during her belly rubs, it sounds like she is talking!

At Scarlett’s age she knows what she wants and doesn’t want, this is important for her future family to take onboard when having her at home. Play and cuddles are of course welcomed, but when it is her choice! Scarlett gives definition to the word foodie, and although this is brilliant for training and enrichment, her family needs to be aware of the management that comes with dogs that love food a little too much.

Scarlett loves the outdoors, she loves to go on sniff-aris which are incredibly enriching for her; these get her brain working as she picks up all the messages from other pooches in the area, or even the scents

of lost snacks! She would adore a large green space where she could be on a longline just taking her time to let it all sink in. Scarlett has a group of doggie pals and although she is often a lot older than those she hangs out with, this certainly does not slow her down. She can be choosey with who makes it into her exclusive group, not all dogs will make the cut!

Scarlett is looking for a calm adult-only home with access to large open areas. She is best suited to be the only dog in the home, but we have no doubt she could have a friend-group outside the home. Scarlett travels well, but in and out of the car is a struggle for her; a ramp for the car, or areas in walking distance would be preferred.

Scarlett will make a fantastic companion and will provide endless unconditional love, she will be there to make your day that little bit better, and will teach you to slow down, take it all in, and enjoy life a bit more. All our dogs go on a home trial for two weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a behaviourist and trainer for the life of our dogs.
