Meet Cora, a beautiful girl with a heart full of love waiting for a family to share it with.
Cora' sadly had a tough start to life. Her journey began in the basement of a hoarder in Romania alongside her brother Cosmo and dad Cody. After also enduring three years in a stressful public shelter, she's shown incredible resilience in adapting to life.
We'd love to find her a home as she has lots of love to give and really deserves a chance.
Cora is a really pretty dog, who has an easy going nature. She's a gentle soul who will benefit from a loving calm environment. When it comes to people she is friendly with everyone but doens't show a particular interest. She just likes to have some attention cuddle and some treats please!
She just loves her snacks! If there are treats on the ground other dogs have missed, Cora will sniff them out and when she fancies a little something, she will stand on her back legs and rest her paws on you just to let you know she's peckish.

Having initially been a tad fearful of other dogs, Cora has come such a long way and will now make friends and go on group walks from time to time.
However we feel that she will enjoy being an only dog in a home, and perhaps avoid a home where there are visiting dogs as it could make her feel overwhelmed.

Here’s the type of home Cora is looking for:

- A quieter home, away from the hustle and bustle in a semi-rural area with green spaces to enjoy.

- Children 14 and older would be okay, as long as they're dog-savvy and lead a quieter lifestyle to suit Cora. Cora's early life experiences make a household with younger children overwhelming for her.

- To be an only dog.

As Cora will likely be comfortable with people from the off, she would likely only need a couple of visits max before going on home trial.

If you think Cora might be just the girl for you, please fill out an enquiry form.

NOTE:
All our dogs go on home trial for four weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a certified behaviourist and trainer for the lifetime of our dogs.
All our dogs are trained with force free, positive reinforcement based training methods. If you want to adopt Cora, you agree to continue using only these methods and training with kindness.

What my friends say...

"Cora has been going on group walks and she is loving it. She has made so many new friends. She's a little superstar!" - Lauren "Cora was one of the first dogs to welcome me on my first day here at LU. It may well have been because there were treats in my pocket, but it was still lovely to see her smiley face coming towards me!"- Clare
