Meet Teddy, a big character with a personality that's truly one of a kind!
Teddy's journey to us involved overcoming a fear of leads, and he's made remarkable progress. Now, he adores his walks, although new environments and circumstances can be a bit challenging for him. He'll need a patient and loving family who understands that settling in might take some time.
We like to think of Teddy as a cat in a dog's body – sassy, confident, and unapologetically himself.
Teddy is a diva, who thinks the world revolves around him and won't be molded into an obedient companion – but that's what makes him unique, and we love him for it! Like many street dogs, he's a bit nervous around strangers, so introducing him to new people will require time and patience.
He has plenty of dog friends at the kennels, but introductions need to be at his own pace. Once he's comfortable, he's a social butterfly with his doggy pals and enjoys off-lead playtime.
So how does Teddy’s dream home look like:
- Teddy is looking
for an adult-only home, as he's not a fan of the hustle and bustle of a family with children.
- As the diva that he is, Teddy wants to be the only pet in the home.
- Due to Teddy’s past and nervousness, street dog experience is desirable
- Teddy needs a home in a rural or semi-rural with a garden for his sunbathing sessions as he loves to bask in the sun.
Teddy is a once-in-a-lifetime companion for the right person who enjoys a fantastically fun best buddy. If you're easygoing, have a great sense of humour, and appreciate a real character, this sassy dog is the one for you.
Teddy is waiting to bring joy and laughter to your life!
