Moflea's early life was tough, spent in a tiny cage in a Romanian shelter, filled with stress and anxiety.
Despite the challenges, he's a kind-hearted boy who cherishes deep relationships. His collection of teddies is his pride and joy, and his giant caterpillar is his snuggle buddy of choice!
Building a bond with Moflea will take a couple of visits as due to past experiences, trusting people is something he does find a little tricky. If a family is willing to make some adjustments in order to accommodate some of his sensitivities though, they will be rewarded with an incredibly loving and loyal companion. The love will run deep once a bond has been established.
Cuddles are Moflea's idea of paradise and in the warmth of those moments, his eyes gently close as he enters his own little idea of heaven.
Moflea's eyes light up when it's time for a car journey to new places and exciting walks. Every moment spent with his family is a treasure to him, and we promise, it'll be the most precious time in your world too.
Moflea can be sensistive to loud noises such as machinery, so he's really like to live in a quieter
So what does Moflea’s dream home look like?
- An adult-only home in a rural or semi-rural location with no other pets, would make Moflea happy.
- Moflea is looking for a quiet home with very few visitors to ease his anxiety. If you have a very active social life, he might not be the right fit for you.
- Due to Moflea’s trust issues, it is important to build a bond with him prior to taking him home. Therefore he would need to be visited around 5-6 times in order to build a special bond.
- Since Moflea had a challenging past, prior experience with street dogs is preferred (but not essential).
Moflea is a true gem, waiting for the right home to really blossom in. Once you've earned his trust, he's not just your best friend; he's your devoted companion.
NOTE:
All our dogs go on home trial for four weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a certified behaviourist and trainer for the lifetime of our dogs.
All our dogs are trained with force free, positive reinforcement based training methods. If you want to adopt Moflea, you agree to continue using only these methods and training with kindness.
