Yakari requires to be visited a couple of times before going on a home trial

Yakari spent many years in a very sad pound in Romania before coming to us to find a better future. This boy shared a cage with Chester, Emily and Koshi at the pound and arrived a very sad and broken boy. It took us a little while to get a smile but once he felt safe and could start trusting the future he became a new dog.
Yakari is actually very people focused now. He loves spending time with the team and have a good play. You can really get him going with his toys and his party trick (see Video at the end) is his spinning. He loves going round and round, it's his little dance and life celebration which he does when he’s happy.

Yakari once he was able to makes choices for himself decided he preferred people to dogs. He went through a phase of not being happy around other dogs, but he now has a number of best friends who he loves! He loves Koshi and he loves Tegen. Yakari would

do great as an only dog or with a submissive and patient female. He loves his time in the freedom field, enjoys his walks and needs an active home able to give him the exercise he needs.

IDEAL HOME
Yakari is looking for a compassionate and happy family, to give him a chance at having a lovely life with his favourite people. He needs an adult only home keen to help a dog move forward in life and understanding that at the start he may find a few things worrying, but that with time and love it will all come together beautifully. He is looking for an active home with access to a garden. He will get on with the right dog, (submissive female) introductions at kennels, but will do well as an only dog too. He has it in him to be someone's super special boy, so we are keen to see him happy with his people.

Note:
All our dogs go on home trial for two weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a behaviourist and trainer for the life of our dogs.
