How Rehoming Works…

Our aim is to have happy dogs in happy families.

Here are a few things you will need to know about our adoption process:

Step 1.

Please fill in an Enquiry Form. If the team is able to proceed with your application you will receive an email within 2 working days.

Step 2.

A home visit will be organised with a volunteer. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you a little better so we can help you adopt a dog who will be the right companion for you.

Step 3.

Following a successful home visit and providing we have dogs in the rescue to fit your requirements, level of experience and circumstances, we will invite you to visit the suitable candidates in the rescue. The kennels are located in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

Step 4.

If you found your new family member during your visit at the rescue, you will be able to take him/her home on home trial for two weeks.

Step 5.

Following the home trial, you will be able to formally adopt your new friend. Once the adoption contract has been signed, the microchip will be transferred, and the medical files sent to your vet.

We ask for a donation of £420 for each dog, to be paid on the day that you take your dog home on home trial. This allows us to continue our work and help save more animals in need. For more information on what is included in the adoption. If a hometrial is unsuccessful, we will fully refund you your adoption donation.

Our dogs at the kennels can be kept at our cost for a week following a reservation and up to a maximum of two weeks. We are unable to reserve dogs for longer.

NOTE: we do not rehome any of our dogs outside of the UK.
